About the Journal

Theme and Scope

Argonautas. Journal of Education and Social Sciences is a semi-annual publication of the Department of Education and Teacher Training, based at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the National University of San Luis (Argentina). Its objective is to provide a space for communication and discussion on issues related to the Social Sciences, considering the processes of understanding and discussion from the educational field.

To this end, Argonautas orients its contents to the actors of the academic world, institutions and the community drawing on a variety of theoretical, methodological and topical perspectives that encompass the interest of the Social Sciences and Humanities.  Although the journal focuses on the Ibero-American region, it is open to discussions from other geographies, thus promoting the development of a comprehensive and comparative perspective on the topics it covers.

The journal is published semi-annually in electronic format under the Open Access system. Its specific topics are dealt with in the Dossier and Open Topic Articles section, through original and unpublished writings derived from research, essays, and the state of the art, without requiring submission or processing fees. The journal reserves the possibility of publishing thematic issues, Open-topic issues or combinations of both, as well as book reviews.
