Philosophy of analytical induction: Can statistics solve the problem of n case?
Keywords:
Analytical Induction, Epistemology, Falsificatio, Statistics, PhilosophyAbstract
In this article, we will work on analytic induction (AI) in relation to the falsificationist method and the possibilities of giving possible answers to the problem of uncertainty in the search for the negative case. First, AI and Karl Popper's falsificationism will be described and then, similarities and differences will be established. From this contrast, a work proposal to use AI with certain statistical methods will be developed in order to reduce the level of uncertainty handled by the researcher who uses it.
