Philosophical and epistemological presuppositions in the work of Castoriadis: conception of the subject and derivations in psychoanalytic practice
Keywords:
philosophy, epistemology, subject, psychoanalytical practiceAbstract
Within the framework of the Research Project: “Epistemological Tendencies and Theories of Subjectivity. Their impact on Human Sciences”, we intend to articulate some notions in the work of Castoriadis on the one hand, and their practical consequences in the field ofpsychoanalysis, on the other. Our starting point is one of the provisional hypotheses of the project mentioned above, which states that epistemological options determine the production and interpretation of theories and have an impact on specific practices.
