Abstract

This work has been carried out under the framework of Line 3 “Research on Psychology andPsychology Teacher Training”, which is part of the Research Project “Research on Psychology and its Impact on Psychologists’ training”. PROICO12-0718. The aim of this study is to promote teacher training as an essential aspect of Psychology teaching, taking into account education and today’s students in an increasingly complex, unequal and virtual society. From this standpoint, it is pertinent to promote the constant questioning about teacher training in present secondary and higher education institutions in the context of uncertainty and new youth cultures, which are the teaching object. This work is based on an empirical review of the teaching practice in the Teacher Training Program in Psychology at the National University of San Luis, during the course of pre-professional practices. In this journey, the reflection processes are the space-time in which students are no longer the repository of someone else’s thoughts, but they become subjects that undergo a personal transformation. This is mediated by the relationship with others and with culturally instituted knowledge in order to be the protagonists, as social subjects, of their own education, and to favour the collective gathering of diverse experiences, which result from the school-society-university link.
