Abstract

New technologies are radically changing our ways of relating to others. In distance education, their impact has prompted deep theoretical reflections, being increasingly appreciated as a form of teaching and learning at university level. From a constructivist framework, the use of new technologies promotes student-teacher interaction, favoring independent, meaningful and collaborative learning, and allowing for the constant articulation between knowledge and the student’s experience.
