Pedagogic intervention in sociocultural animation settings

This paper describes a pedagogic experience which unfolded in the workshops offered by INSSJP-PAMI to adults attending retirement centers in the city of San Luis. This experience will be analyzed in the light of some aspects of Sociocultural Animation. The underlying purpose is to draw conclusions and final reflections about the work of Licentiates in Education Sciences. As actors in these settings and in their relationship with adults, educators should assume the challenge to intervene in new contexts which do not have provide them with the reassurance of“what is known” for them. Likewise, educators should promote citizen participation and community cultural production, thus going beyond interventions and penetrating directly in the community promotion.
