Abstract

An increase of school conflicts in the different  educational levels and the need for a peaceful resolution and dialogue through educational mediation is present in the pedagogical scenario. It is therefore not very understandable why the treatment of conflicts has not been an explicit part of the Professional Model of upper secondary education, which has resulted in lack of knowledge, skills, abilities, and  values, to find  creative  solutions to the conflicts that occur in the interpersonal relationships of the group context.  Hence, the aim of the research is the development of an improvement strategy for teachers to  achieve mediation in interpersonal conflicts in the pre-university context. Different empirical and theoretical methods were used, such as synthesis analysis, logical history, modeling, structural-functional systemic, observation, document  analysis, survey, interview, socialization  workshops and statistical methods. The strategy  significance in the training process of thehigh  school profesional ducator is reflected in the social impact achieved in the mediation of interpersonal conflicts in the pre-university  context through the enhancement of the  teacher’s performance.
