Abstract

In the universities, the training of researchers has its main expression at the postgraduate level, more specifically at the doctoral level. This can be observed in several countries and regions worldwide, being the model of the Unites States the best known. The formation of doctors as an intentional social process is developed through the construal of meanings and senses among the implied subjects, and it generates schools of thoughts which are projected in the universities in a professional scientific formation, conditioned by the of the doctoral formation management, which reveals the importance of this work. From this perspective, the doctoral formation process involves profound changes in the notions of the doctoral formation management and its systematic control, whose fundamentals may consider the relation between thinking and being, from humanistic assumptions which recognize the complexity of the processes studied and the role of the subjects involved. The doctoral training programs have to involve results and essentials of the scientific development with projects of science and technological innovation, applied in the different contexts and concrete activities of the subjects involved.
