Abstract

The production of scientific knowledge about educational phenomena or facts entails researching in the complex field of the social sciences. At the same time, research becomes more difficult when it is carried out in academic-scientific institutions where the logic of knowledge production does not always interpret such sciences. We often get trapped in this logic, and we forget the deep sense of our research activity. Reflection and revision of the research practice from a scientific attitude entails an examination of what has been done and of the decisions made, an interrogation about the reasons guiding the object construction, and a problematization of what often appears as self-evident. The present work aims at sharing some reflections developed froma revision work of my own research activity performed at Universidad Nacional de San Luis, considering that researching in Human and Social sciences implies a profound involvement of the researcher and, therefore, a subjective change. These reflections intend to question our own point of view as researchers since the research problems we construe, far from being objective, satisfy our needs, desires and absences.
