Female participation in the defense of Human Rights at UNSL
Keywords:
women, human rights democracy, universityAbstract
As the year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the University Reform of '18, and as a tribute, in this work we refer to the participation of women from the National University of San Luis (UNSL) in democratic public policies on human rights (DDHH), after the last military dictatorship in Argentina.
To this effect, we have recovered the voices of three reference women who have worked both in teaching and in the management of this university along their professional careers. They are Nilda Esther Picco, Ana María Garraza and Marta Fourcade, who - together with other valuable professionals - made a difference through their ethical, political and ideological commitment, by supporting the defense of human rights when needed.
