Abstract

In this work, we aim to study the growth of audiovisual productions in a series of circuits and performance spaces within the Executive Branch of the province of San Luis. We start by acknowledging that these productions are part of a device that occupies a relevant place in the local production. We also depart from the idea that these productions configure a regional trend in the deployment of digital communication strategies comprising State policies and respond to political and global economics in the field of communication. In particular, we are interested in focusing our attention on the development of productions linked to ministries, secretariats, agencies, programs, organizations and institutions like museums and cultural houses. The resulting mapping detailed a significant number of active government networks and platforms and fundamentally reveals the consolidation of an informational strategy based on an ecosystem of audiovisual pieces affecting the media system in various ways. This article structurally describes the government's communication presence and questions this policy in the light of the use it acquires by the working sector of the provincial press.
