Networks of teachers conducting research from school: A specifically latin american contribution to pedagogical thought
Keywords:
teacher network, research, Latin American thought, pedagogical thoughtAbstract
This paper aims to describe the experience developed by teachers from different countries who are exploring new paths, seeking and creating new spaces to "meet" and "listen" beyond the official versions of reality. These are the Teacher Collectives and Networks that conduct research from School. In addition to highlighting the importance of these experiences in generating new proposals for teacher training and organization, they are considered of paramount importance for their contribution to Latin American pedagogical thought. Some of these networks include: in Mexico, School as a Research Center and the Network for the Transformation of Basic Education from School (TEBES), in Colombia, the Network for the Qualification of Practicing Teachers (CEE) in 1994, and also the Pedagogical Expedition Movement; in Argentina, the Network of Teachers who conduct Educational Research (DHIE) in 1999; in Brazil, the Network for Research in School (RIE) which began as meetings and was constituted as a network in 2002; and in Venezuela, the Network of Groups that conduct research from School and Community (CIRES).
