Violence within the school institution

Abstract

During the last decades it has been happened a lot of social changes in a rush way and at the same time it has been illegitimated the border lines that put limits over what popularly is considered "should be". That is why we are living at the moment some situations which are concerned with questioning social agreements. This leads to stop being recognized and respected by everybody. Within the educational institutions, part of the discomfort is due to some conceptions and visions which are a struggle or stress and those situations generate troubles to keep up the limits and make it difficult for the teacher to get the authority role and make students recognize it. It is important that the teacher should not give up his place and role using the knowledge as symbolic operator taking into account the asymmetrical considered necessary to take place the pedagogic act. When this knowledge disappears the pedagogical connection may become an imaginary relationship, based on the face to face, increasingin this way stress, aggressive tensions which are usual in the imaginary level.
