Abstract

Adolescence is a stage of life in which fundamental changes occur to the psychic structure and to the subject's relationship with the socio-cultural context. In this work we were looking at the characteristics of adolescence today, analyzing the way in which subjectivity interweaves with social conditions of the era, deepened byglobalization, in which great transformations in social relationships promote the individualism and the object of consumption, to the detriment of desire and collective ideals.
