An experience of approaching the issues of school coexistence in a secondary school in San Luis- Argentina

This report describes an experience of approaching some of the educational problems that currently affect the secondary school level, from the perspective of the institutional actors of a secondary school in the city of San Luis-Argentina. The experience was carried out within the framework of the subject “Didactic and pedagogical issues of the secondary school level” of the Bachelor’s Degree in Education and the Teaching Training Program in Education of the School of Human Sciences, San Luis (Argentina). The purpose of this experience was to investigate the problems currently affecting the secondary school level and how they are perceived and identified by the institutional actors. Based on the identification of different issues, it was decided to focus on school coexistence. Information was collected by means of several techniques (semi-structured interviews, observation and field notes) from different institutional actors (principals, teachers and students). After analyzing the data collected, we were able to draw some reflections and conclusions about the problem of school coexistence.
