Abstract

The folklore and its projection in the works of various authors form the foundation of children's literature. The presence of characters, situations, references and arguments previously known, for being part of the popular cultural heritage of oral literary tradition, it is an outstanding children's literature from its origins to the present.It tries to clarify the concept of children's literature of the so-called scholarly literature and its relations with the folklore and folk projection. Also, the most relevant aspects of the narrative, dramatic folk poetry and children's presents and gives a brief account of the great classics of literature authorial spacious reception by smaller plotted. From this teaching theoretical overview, job training and exchange between the National University of San Luis and an institution of early education level of the medium, redefines the role of the teacher as mediator par excellence between literature and child.
